![]() When people actually get their hands on the unplayable boss characters it's novel to be playing as them but then quickly realize they generally have such a limited range of moves and motion too in a lot of cases that they're not enjoyable to play as. That has almost always been the case for the last 20+ years with fighitng games now. In X-Men Vs Street Fighter when you could use the giant version of Apocalypse to play as via a cheat code he wasn't fun to play as. In MK9 when somebody made a boss mod that made Shao Khan and Goro playable, they weren't fun to play as. In the original Mortal Kombat on SNES, neither Goro or Shang Tsung were fun to play as. They generally have a limited range of moves, around 5 or so I usually find to be the case. We've been able to use/unlock boss characters in fighting games since the Super Nintendo days and throughout the history of fighting games one element remains pretty constant/frequent when it comes to boss characters (that aren't meant to be played with) and that's that they suck and aren't fun to play with. Not by some random nerd with scripting knowledge.Īnd what mindset is that, that boss characters when unlocked in fighting games usually suck or is the mindset that Guru and Bulma aren't OP characters that people are dominating the game with?Įxcept you don't actually disprove anything I say, where as historically throughout video games what I said tends to be true. IF other characters would be introduced into the game it would be done by the DEVELOPERS of said game. I might be an oldskool gamer but in my opinion you dont touch the product you were given. People that think to lightly of these modding/hacking concepts are the reason online gaming is destroyed.įine there are 1 or 2 mods that sprouted their own games but those are fairly different from the stuff people are screwing around with in DBXV. It's not called Dragonball Moddoverse or Dragonball Hackoverse. You have been given a product and characters to play with and that is the product you play. Hacking/Moddding a game is idiotic to begin with. People who are new to this game or online gaming in general cant enjoy the online experience thanks to all those modding/scripting idiots who use characters that arent even ment to be playable characters and having unlimited health or abilities that arent even supposed to be used by players. They can give them whatever abilities they want including the Gigantic Ki Blast and more expert mission moves. If people are able to play as characters that ARE NOT IMPLEMENTED in the game as playable characters, What makes you think they will stop with at the characters? You comment is complete and utter BS im sorry to say. I dont play PVP to begin with and it's because people with your mindset. People who use the characters online aren't doing it because those characters are godly they're doing it for the novelty of having access to characters that others don't and enjoy the idea of confusing people or trolling them with those characters.ĭo you seriously think people are wrecking shop with characters like Guru and Bulma? No, they're playing with those characters because it's ridiculous.Īlso not everyone likes PVP or enjoys playing with others so yes it is completely easy to avoid playing online with cheats when you're not the type of person who likes playing online to begin with. There's a novelty to playing as them but that's it. ![]() The added characters all suck and none of them are fun to play as. People who use any kind of modify tools should be banned on the spot. Why? Because you cant resist being a god in the game. If you have that kind of power you're surely gonna use it in online mode aswell. Players who use those kinds of cheats often say it's fine to do it in offline/single mode, But let's be totally honest. Should you be banned for that? INSTANTLY.
